The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India, has granted Namdhari Eco Energies Pvt Ltd provisional accreditation as an Accredited Carbon Verification Agency (ACVA) under the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS). Our accreditation number is ACVA012, and it is valid from 25 June 2026 to 24 June 2027.
What the accreditation covers
ACVA012 is accredited for the compliance mechanism of CCTS, which means we can verify the greenhouse gas emission intensity reported by obligated entities in five notified sectors:
- Fertiliser (one of only two accredited agencies in India)
- Iron and steel
- Petrochemicals
- Petroleum refinery
- Pulp and paper
We are not accredited for the offset mechanism, and we are not accredited to verify aluminium, cement, chlor-alkali or textile plants. For those sectors we offer monitoring plan and MRV readiness advisory only.
First verifications completed
In the 2025-26 assessment year we completed six CCTS monitoring, reporting and verification assignments across six pulp and paper units: Khanna Paper Mills (Amritsar), Andhra Paper (Rajahmundry), Orient Paper Mill (Amlai), TNPL Unit 1 (Kagithapuram) and Unit 2 (Mondipatti), and K R Pulp & Papers (Shahjahanpur). Site verification visits took place between August and September 2026.
