How Thermal Imaging Works

Infrared technology works on the principle that objects having a temperature above absolute zero emit radiations. These radiations is in the form of spectral energy. This energy is not visible form the naked eye. But Thermal imagers can detect these radiations.  In this way the thermal imager maps the temperature difference between the different surfaces of the body.
